Yellow Plane uses a restrained material palette to explore a more complex arrangement of depth. Grey concrete establishes the main mass, while yellow surfaces identify selected recesses, edges and openings. From the front, the coloured areas read as a graphic composition; from above, their connection to terraces and intersecting volumes becomes clearer.
The model was developed as one of the Geometricism initial ideas, with the render sequence used to compare elevation, plan and oblique views. Its central question is compositional: how a single accent colour can connect separate faces of a building study and draw attention to the spaces carved out of its mass.
