Red Recess treats the façade as a sequence of layers. Pale outer frames project beyond darker red surfaces, making the distance between enclosure and structure the main subject of the model. Rotating the object reveals a deliberate contrast between more active, deeply cut elevations and quieter solid faces.
An elevated view connects those decisions to the compact footprint, showing how the red surfaces continue around corners. Developed within Geometricism, the study tests the usefulness of subtraction as a design tool: the identity of the form comes as much from what is removed or pushed back as from the concrete volumes that remain.
